Danfoss has received the Platinum Medal in the 2026 EcoVadis sustainability assessment, scoring 88 out of 100 and placing in the top 1% of more than 130,000 companies assessed worldwide.
The Platinum rating recognizes Danfoss’ progress and performance in environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The company has embedded sustainability in its LEAP 2030 strategy.
Since its 2019 base year, Danfoss has reduced its Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 54%. Renewable electricity now accounts for 75% of electricity used across the company. Danfoss said it achieved its 2030 SBTi-approved target five years ahead of schedule and has since adopted updated SBTi-approved near- and long-term targets.
In 2026, Danfoss also published an updated Climate Transition Plan outlining its approach to decarbonizing the company by 2030 and achieving net-zero emissions across the value chain by 2050.
