The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) announced the opening of nominations for its 2027 Awards of Excellence, with eight honors covering HVACR contractors, service managers, volunteers and marketing campaigns. Nominations close November 30, 2026, and recipients will be recognized during ACCA 2027 in March.
The awards include Residential Contractor of the Year and Commercial Contractor of the Year, each recognizing one company, as well as Service Manager of the Year. Individual honors also include the ACCA Community Leadership Award, Spirit of Independence and Distinguished Service Award.
Federated Insurance’s ACCA Super S.T.A.R. Award recognizes a contractor based on Safety, Teamwork, Accountability and Responsibility. The Marketing Masters Award covers campaigns developed and executed during the past calendar year across traditional media, digital and new media, and branding, with marketing firms permitted to submit entries for clients.
There is no application fee and no limit on the number of nominations an ACCA member may submit. Nominees must be ACCA members in good standing or employees of a member company and must be available to attend the awards ceremony.
Winners will be notified privately in late January or early February 2027. The awards will be presented at ACCA 2027, scheduled for March 10–12 in National Harbor, Washington, D.C., in conjunction with ACCA’s 2027 Advocacy Day.
