Beijer Ref AB has appointed current CFO Joel Davidsson as acting Chief Executive Officer and president, effective 14 August 2026. He succeeds Christopher Norbye, who will leave the company as previously communicated. Davidsson will retain his CFO position while serving as acting CEO.
Davidsson has been CFO of Beijer Ref since 2023. He previously served as CFO of Rosti Group and held senior roles at Alfa Laval and ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, following a career in investment banking in London and Stockholm.
The recruitment process for a permanent CEO is ongoing, with further information to be provided when it is completed. Beijer Ref said its operations continue according to plan and that its strategy and financial targets remain unchanged.
