Copeland has named Michael Toh as the president of its Asia-Pacific regional business unit, bringing with him over 20 years of leadership in the HVAC industry. As a standalone portfolio company of Blackstone, Copeland aims to expand its presence across the Asia-Pacific region under Toh’s leadership.
“Michael’s extensive industry knowledge and leadership experience across Asia make him the perfect fit for our Asia-Pacific operations,” stated Ross B. Shuster, Copeland’s CEO. Toh’s history of driving business growth aligns with Copeland’s strategic goals to expand in HVAC, cold chain, and industrial sectors in the region.
Toh’s career includes leading roles at Georg Fischer, Honeywell Building Solutions, and Johnson Controls, along with governance roles in Chinaust Group. Expressing enthusiasm about his new role, Toh aims to drive growth and innovation, focusing on energy transition and low global warming potential refrigerants.
