Eurodib, a North American distributor of professional kitchen equipment, announced the acquisition of Canada’s Distex Group on October 8, 2026. The transaction expands Eurodib’s portfolio of commercial refrigeration, cooking solutions and stainless steel kitchen equipment while supporting its expansion across Canada.
Founded in 1993, Distex Group specializes in importing and distributing commercial foodservice equipment throughout Canada. The acquisition brings three Distex Group brands—New Air, Thorinox and Brika—into Eurodib’s portfolio.
Eurodib also plans to increase its logistics capacity through new warehousing on Canada’s West Coast. The company said the acquisition will strengthen its ability to serve customers across the Canadian market.

Eurodib has distributed professional foodservice equipment since 1996, primarily importing products from Europe. The company operates across North America, while Distex Group has served the Canadian commercial food equipment market since 1993.
