CIAT Products Secure Prestigious PEP Ecopassport

CIAT’s product ranges have earned the esteemed PEP (Product Environment Profile) Ecopassport declaration, highlighting their commitment to minimizing environmental impact throughout the product lifecycle.

The PEP Ecopassport program, globally recognized and certified under ISO 14025, 14040, and 14044 standards, is a voluntary initiative by the non-profit P.E.P. Association. It provides a standardized framework for assessing and communicating the environmental performance of electrical, electronic, and HVAC equipment, helping customers make informed decisions based on transparent data.

The CIAT FLOWAY, VECTIOS, CLIMACIAT AIRACCESS and AIRTECH, AQUACIATPOWER ILD R-32, COADIS LINE 600/900, MELODY 2, MAJOR LINE, and COMFORT LINE ranges underwent a thorough life cycle assessment (LCA). This assessment evaluated resource consumption, energy efficiency, and waste generation from raw material extraction to end-of-life disposal, ensuring these products meet the stringent PEP Ecopassport requirements.

"Earning the PEP Ecopassport declaration across a broad range of our products showcases our commitment to eco-design and sustainable manufacturing practices," said Daniel Wood, Head of Sales for CIAT UK & Ireland. "It demonstrates our efforts to reduce the environmental footprint of our products and our contribution to a more sustainable future for the HVAC industry and beyond."

This achievement not only validates CIAT’s environmental performance but also assures customers that their sustainability objectives are met when choosing CIAT products. The PEP Ecopassport strengthens CIAT’s position as a trusted partner for environmentally conscious customers seeking high-quality HVAC solutions.
