Electrolux Professional Refrigerators Added to Energy Technology List

Electrolux Professional has announced that three ecostore models have been added to the Energy Technology List (ETL), bolstering their sustainability credentials. The models include the ecostore Premium HPe (ESP71FRCAAG & ESP71FFCHPAG) and the ecostore HPe (RE471FFCG).

The ETL, backed by the government, features over 14,000 independently verified energy-efficient products. The addition of these refrigerators highlights their superior energy efficiency and capacity. Electrolux’s ecostore HPe model boasts a climate class 5 and energy efficiency class A rating, consuming 299 kWh per annum with a 503-litre capacity.

To support these advancements, Electrolux Professional is extending its warranty from two to five years for new purchases of the HPe Premium and HPe single door cabinets.

"While our ecostore range is already recognised as reliable and sustainable, ETL accreditation underscores our progress in energy efficiency," said Alex Reed, Foodservice Partner Sales Manager for Electrolux Professional UK & Ireland.

Electrolux Professional encourages more businesses to explore the ETL for energy-efficient appliances, which can lead to long-term cost savings and environmental benefits. Alex Reed warned that opting for cheaper alternatives might result in higher maintenance costs due to their inferior energy efficiency.

The ecostore range by Electrolux Professional includes features like the OptiFlow intelligent air circulation system that ensures optimal food preservation by adapting to the refrigerator’s load for uniform cooling.
