Everidge Expands USA Manufacturing Capacity

Everidge, one of the nation’s leading innovators of commercial cold storage solutions, walk-in coolers, freezers, and cook-chill specialty solutions, announced it is expanding its manufacturing footprint with the addition of a 7,500 sq. ft. distribution center in Winnebago, MN, and a 10,000 sq ft distribution center in Andover, KS for the PrepRite family of products.

Both distribution centers will enable Everidge to increase manufacturing capacity and throughput. The expansion at its long-standing Winnebago, MN plant should be complete in Q1, 2021. The Andover distribution center is already fully stocked with PrepRite products, including commercial blast chillers, sous vide machines, vacuum sealers, and pizza prep tables.

In addition to the new Winnebago distribution center, Everidge has invested significantly in new capital equipment to automate manufacturing insulated panels further. This investment confirms the company’s commitment to its presence in Winnebago and that they value its stable and loyal workforce there.

“Since our business is growing, this will allow us to add more people to our team. We are proud to be a long-standing member of both communities and are looking forward to many more years,” says Eric Wickberg, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Everidge. ”We are exceptionally grateful that 2020 was such a successful year that we needed to expand in both Winnebago and Andover to keep up with the demand.”

Everidge is persistently evolving with its continuous improvement philosophy of offering cold storage and food prep solutions uniquely designed to help customers stay successful and profitable while facing the challenges of today’s volatile business environment. Everidge has a rich history of innovation, making premier walk-in coolers and freezers since 1939, and has been a family-owned business for more than 30 years.
