Hoshizaki America Strengthens Leadership Team with Two New Director Appointments

Hoshizaki America, a leading manufacturer of commercial ice and refrigeration equipment, has announced the appointment of Seth Sawyer and Lori Northeim to its leadership team, effective August 19. These strategic hires underscore Hoshizaki’s commitment to driving innovation and growth in the industry.

Seth Sawyer joins as the new Director of Product Management - Refrigeration. With over 15 years of product management experience at companies like Char-Broil, Spectrum Brands, and Masterbuilt, Sawyer brings a rich background in engineering and product development. His focus on innovation and customer-centric solutions is expected to bolster Hoshizaki’s product offerings in the refrigeration market. Sawyer holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Georgia Tech and a Product Strategy Certification from Kellogg Executive Education.

Lori Northeim has been appointed as the new Director of Marketing. Northeim’s extensive experience in brand strategy, product launches, e-commerce, and market research makes her a strong addition to the team. She holds an industrial design degree from Purdue University, an MBA from Otterbein University, and a Professional Certified Marketer certificate from the American Marketing Association. Her prior roles at Elmer’s Products Inc. and Fiskars Garden and Outdoor Living have equipped her with the skills to advance Hoshizaki’s marketing initiatives.

“We are thrilled to welcome Seth and Lori to the Hoshizaki family,” said Sally Ray, Vice President of Marketing. “Their combined expertise and fresh perspectives will be instrumental as we continue to innovate and grow our market presence. We are confident that their leadership will help us achieve new milestones and reinforce our commitment to delivering high-quality products and services to our customers.”

Sawyer and Northeim will play crucial roles in advancing Hoshizaki’s strategic goals. Their leadership is expected to drive innovation, enhance product quality, and strengthen customer relationships, solidifying Hoshizaki's position as a leader in the commercial ice machine and refrigeration industry.
