Iceland becomes greener with Beijer Ref CO2 booster system

The focus on environmental refrigerants has been blooming in the past years in Iceland. Grocery, wholesale and fishing companies are getting more aware of their carbon footprints.

By cooperating with leading installer of CO2 refrigeration units in Iceland, KAPP, Beijer Ref has been able to supply six transcritical units that were installed in two supermarkets.

This is one of the first fully green installations of CO2 booster systems in Iceland.
