Kingspan announced as a Superbrand 6 years running

Kingspan are pleased to announce that it has been recently reaffirmed as a Business Superbrand for 2018, retaining its position as one of the UK’s most trusted brands for the sixth consecutive year.

Kingspan’s Group Chief Executive, Gene Murtagh, commented on the news, highlighting the dedication and hard work of people across the company as the key to Kingspan’s recent success.

"Our retained status as a Superbrand is testament to the hard work and dedication of staff right across the Kingspan Group. Today, the name Kingspan is synonymous with a forward thinking, holistic approach to construction, continually redefining the possibilities for our built environment."

These brands are chosen by the Business Superbrands Council, a volunteer organisation of marketing and business experts. Their choices are also based on the feedback from a widely circulated survey of 2,500 professional business experts from all over the UK. This survey is managed by The Centre for Brand Analysis (TCBA).

Over 1,500 brands were surveyed and judged across 62 categories as part of the selection process.

Each brand is examined and tested for three distinct traits that a Superbrand must have embedded in their brand values. These include the quality of the brand’s products, their reliability as a brand, and their ability to stand out from the crowd and from their competitors.

Kingspan offers a comprehensive portfolio of reliable products across its five operational divisions: Insulated Panels, Insulation, Access Floors, Environmental and Light & Air, each delivering innovative building products which separates it from similar businesses. This includes the Kooltherm series which delivers lower U-values with minimal construction thickness, and the recent development of Kingspan’s BENCHMARK, a rainscreen system which combines pleasing aesthetics with a fully functional and fire tested industrial product.

Commenting on this year’s appointed Superbrands, Stephen Cheliotis, CEO of The Centre for Brand Analysis and Chairman of Superbrands said:

"We’re thrilled to be able to celebrate some of the UK’s strongest brands. Competition in the B2B space has become fiercer than ever before, so retaining Superbrand status is a notable achievement. Each and every Superbrand should be proud of the efforts they have put in over the past 12 months that have led to this accolade."

Becoming a Superbrand is the definitive accolade for brands who have left their mark in the industry. It is for those who have presented themselves as industry leaders, spearheading change through innovative design and using their formidable reputation to do so.
