Online course on the new RSIF at the request of industrial engineers and Valencian refrigerators

AEFYT, Association of Cold Companies and their Technologies, organize a new course call Application of the new RSIF and its Complementary Technical Instructions, which will take place in weekly sessions between June 8 and July 13. On this occasion, the Spanish employers of cold have the collaboration AVICLIMA, Valencian Association of Installers and Maintainers of Air Conditioning and Cold, and of IICV, College of Industrial Engineers of the Valencian Community, whose associates have access to discounts to carry out the training. The course includes 20 teaching hours in sessions that will be taught every Monday afternoon, with a final evaluation.

The new RSIF is one of the fundamental texts at present for the cold sector. The Regulation covers, among other things, the characteristics and treatment to be given to new refrigerant fluids, including recently approved A2L (slightly flammable), and the calculation of energy efficiency formulas in facilities, such as COP and TEWI. The course also analyzes standards such as EN 378-2016, the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68, EN 13.136 and RD 709/2015 and also offers practical examples of calculation of facilities and guidelines for the preparation of documentation necessary in refrigeration facilities.

The course will be taught by Ricardo Gimenez, a recognized expert in the field and a member of the RSIF drafting working group, and is aimed at refrigeration project planner engineers and engineering managers, licensed refrigeration installers, maintenance professionals and those responsible for the security of refrigeration installations.

From AEFYT we have fully involved ourselves with the dissemination of the text in different Autonomous Communities to reach as many professionals as possible and our digital platform allows us to continue meeting this objective", said Manuel Lamúa, AEFYT manager and course director.

It should be noted that the Technical Committee of AEFYT He has participated in a very intense way in the drafting of the legislative text, so that attendees will receive first-hand information on the novelties of the RSIF, in addition to having the opportunity to update concepts and certain aspects of an administrative and technical nature.
