Viessmann Climate Solutions and Green Fusion agree on strategic partnership

Viessmann Climate Solutions has entered into a strategic partnership with software specialist Green Fusion to enhance the digitalization of heating systems in the housing industry. This collaboration aims to reduce energy consumption, costs, and CO₂ emissions.

Green Fusion GmbH, an expert in heat and energy management software, will work with Viessmann Climate Solutions (VCS), a leading provider of intelligent climate and energy solutions, to accelerate the green energy transition. VCS, which is part of Carrier Global Corporation, provides a significant portion of heating systems in the housing sector.

Many of these systems now come with a data connection, allowing all operating and status data to be accessed in the VCS Cloud. Through this partnership, Green Fusion's intelligent energy-saving software can be connected to these systems to enhance their efficiency through holistic optimization and automated control.

As part of the VCS Developer Program, operating data such as flow and return temperatures and heating characteristic curves are transferred to Green Fusion's cloud-based energy management platform via a standardized API. Green Fusion's AI-based software then continuously and automatically controls and optimizes the heating systems, taking into account all relevant parameters and weather data.

This strategic partnership represents a significant step toward more efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly heating solutions in the housing industry.
