ASHRAE's First Career Fair

The Student Activities committee is excited to announce the first ever international Virtual Career Fair from February 7-14, 2022. This unique event will give employers exposure to students across national and international borders with a focus on the HVAC&R industry. This event will help you promote your position whether you are looking for a summer student, internship, co-op or full-time hire. The event will be hosted over the course of a week. During this time students can visit virtual booths based on geographical location and filter by types of business within HVAC&R. They can read about your company and find out about your role. Wednesday February 9th, 2022 will be the live day where students can arrange a video chat to speak with one of your booth hosts. If you are not able to be in the booth at that time, there are also private messaging features within the platform.

The advantages to your company are:

  • Low cost compared to an in-person career fair – Normally a company will incur expenses for the booth, in addition to expenses for one or more representatives to attend in person. This virtual platform saves the costs of flights, hotels, and shipping costs for booth material. You will only incur the registration fee.
  • HVAC&R focus – This event will be entirely focused on HVAC&R. Applicants will have a keen interest in this field.
  • Large talent pool – Your company will be able to reach thousands of HVAC students not only across the USA but throughout the world. Finding the right person will become much easier with lower effort.
  • Corporate exposure – your company will have exposure on a global scale.
  • Low burden to the employer – The virtual booths are easy to set up and maintain.
