SWEP is poised for an impressive presence at HVAC&R Japan 2022 being held February 2nd-4th in Tokyo, to introduce its cutting-edge BPHE technologies and latest product developments. We have picked a few highlights to show you as a small preview of what to expect from SWEP during the tradeshow.
At the show, SWEP will introduce the innovative Hypertwain technology. It optimizes both cooling and heating and keeps the need for electricity, space, and refrigerants to a bare minimum. This is a breakthrough development that integrates several functions into one evaporator/condenser – greatly improving efficiency for chiller and heat pump applications. The TW250AS model is the first of this range and covers a capacity span up to around 70 USRt while the Hypertwain platform is being extended with additional BPHEs aiming for capacities up to 200 USRt. Focus refrigerants are all high-pressure refrigerants like R32, R410A, R454B, R452B, and R290 (Propane).
To cope with industries’ demand for energy transformation toward net-zero carbon emission, SWEP is willing to contribute with compact, optimized BPHEs and will also exhibit solutions focused on green refrigerant applications like trans critical CO2 and ammonia refrigeration. One of the solutions SWEP will display is our extended All-Stainless portfolio to prevent copper corrosion and avoiding failure in systems with ammonia as the heat transfer media.
Additionally, SWEP is also extending its exploration in industrial applications including ORC, heat recovery, data center, oil cooling, etc., by offering a wide range of reliable BPHEs. SWEP’s largest model to date, the B649, will be exhibited. The B649 is the highest capacity BPHE on the market to optimize your space saving, installation time, and life cycle cost.
Finally, SWEP will also be introducing our new SEALIX technology. Mediums in contact with metal surfaces can cause leaching, corrosion, fouling and scaling which means decreased system efficiency that can lead to higher costs due to system breakdowns/warranty commitments. The revolutionary SEALIX coating increases corrosion resistance, decreases the tendency for fouling and scaling, decreases leaching, and increases the overall durability of the solution.
