Panasonic HVAC & CC Co., Ltd. has appointed Mitsuru Shibata as Managing Executive Officer and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), effective November 1, 2026.
The company’s Board of Directors decided on the appointment following deliberation by the Nomination and Compensation Advisory Committee.
Shibata currently serves as Deputy CSO in charge of HVAC. His new responsibilities will include the role of CSO.
In connection with the appointment, Panasonic HVAC & CC President Eiichi Katayama will be relieved of his responsibilities as Chief Strategy Officer.
