Wieland Group has acquired France-based Neotiss SAS, a manufacturer of high-performance welded smooth and finned tubes for nuclear, energy and process industries. The acquisition expands Wieland’s materials and product portfolio and strengthens its capabilities in heat transfer, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC&R). The transaction was completed on October 1, 2026.
Neotiss specializes in welded tubes made from titanium, stainless steel and nickel alloys. Its products are designed for applications requiring high efficiency, corrosion resistance and operational reliability. Headquartered in Issy-les-Moulineaux, France, the company operates manufacturing facilities in France, the United States and China and employs approximately 370 people.
The acquisition gives Wieland access to additional customers and applications in the nuclear industry, Neotiss’ largest end market. It also adds expertise in advanced materials processing and the engineering of high-performance tube solutions. The companies identified complementary products and applications in refrigeration and air conditioning as further growth opportunities.
Neotiss will become part of Wieland’s Business Unit Thermal Solutions. The acquisition comes amid growing demand for efficient heat transfer systems, supported by expanding data center infrastructure, increasing energy requirements and continued industrial investment.
“With Neotiss, we are gaining a specialist whose technologies and market position are an excellent complement to our existing business,” said Dr. Erwin Mayr, CEO of Wieland Group. “The acquisition broadens our access to attractive growth markets, particularly in the nuclear industry, and further strengthens our capabilities in advanced materials and heat transfer applications. It is another important step in the consistent execution of our long-term growth strategy.”
