The Federation of Environmental Trade Associations (FETA) has rejoined Eurovent as a Member Association after more than 20 years, strengthening UK HVACR industry representation within the European association. Eurovent now brings together 18 national Member Associations representing HVACR industry interests across Europe.
FETA is a UK trade body representing more than 400 manufacturers, suppliers, installers and contractors across heating, ventilation, building controls, refrigeration and air conditioning. Its sectors and technologies include air conditioning, air handling, ventilation, refrigeration, heat pumps, building controls, air distribution, air filtration, residential ventilation and smoke control.
The renewed cooperation is intended to strengthen dialogue between the UK HVACR industry and counterparts across Europe as the sector addresses changing regulation, new technologies, decarbonisation, energy efficiency, indoor environmental quality and product sustainability. As a Eurovent Member Association, FETA can contribute to activities and discussions within Eurovent’s Product Groups and other working structures.
“FETA is pleased to be returning to Eurovent at an important time for the HVACR industry. Strong cooperation between the UK and European associations is essential as our sector responds to changing regulation, new technologies and the transition towards a more sustainable built environment. Rejoining Eurovent will allow FETA to share the knowledge and experience of our members, learn from industry partners across Europe and contribute constructively to discussions that shape our sector. We look forward to playing an active role within the Eurovent network and strengthening connections across the European HVACR community,” said Chris Yates, FETA Chief Executive.
