Eurovent Market Intelligence (EMI) will hold its EMI Forum 2026 on 5–6 November in Alicante, Spain. The two-day event will bring together European HVACR professionals to examine market developments, refrigerant regulations, ventilation technologies, data centre cooling and industry investment trends.
The programme opens on 5 November with the EMI Market Intelligence Committee, which will discuss market data collection, air handling units, dry cooler segmentation and cooling distribution units (CDUs) for data centres. An afternoon refrigerant session will examine the 2027–2032 F-Gas regulatory transition, low-GWP technologies and the challenges associated with refrigerant selection under F-Gas and PFAS pressure. Speakers include Yannick Cotrelle, Director of Eurovent Market Intelligence, and Delphine Martin, Global Marketing Manager at Climalife.
On 6 November, the ventilation session will review European commercial and residential market trends, regulatory developments and opportunities through 2031. Discussions will cover sensing technologies, multifunctional ventilation units, renovation, digitalisation and artificial intelligence. Inna Collet, Senior Analyst at EMI, will present market data and moderate the panel discussion.
Data centre cooling will be another major focus, with presentations examining AI-driven cooling requirements, energy efficiency and air, liquid and hybrid cooling technologies. Beyza Aykurt, Senior Analyst at EMI, will present European market data, while Carlos Lisboa, Founder and CEO of NAVITAS, will discuss factors influencing data centre cooling design.
The final sessions will address regional preferences for hydronic and direct expansion terminal units, mergers and acquisitions in European HVACR, and the role of decarbonisation, digitalisation and climate adaptation in future building design. Discussions will involve representatives from engineering, architecture, manufacturing and certification organisations.
EMI collects sales data directly from manufacturers across Europe, with more than 500 participating companies covering over 20 products. The forum will take place at INNSiDE by Meliá Alicante Porta Maris, with market presentations, expert talks, panel discussions and networking activities scheduled across both days.
