Company profile Ryan-Jayberg was established by Fred Jamieson in 1966, at a time when UK supermarkets were in their infancy. Concentrating on engineering, design and cabinet requirements to meet the demands of the developing market, we successfully fulfilled our ambition to provide refrigeration expertise to this sector of the industry. This success has continued through to the present day, marking fifty years of reputable trading. In 1985 the company was further enhanced when we acquired Ryan Refrigeration and today has a diverse and varied customer base within the refrigeration retail market.

Our Head Office in London is home to our Engineering Design, Contracting, and Service & Maintenance divisions. This is complemented by our Display Equipment team in Gloucester and supported by our impressive nationwide service network. With a talented team of professionals backed by an excellent engineering team, we strive for constant development to ensure that our clients receive refrigeration products and services of the highest quality, thus ensuring a lasting, successful relationship between our company and our clients.

Sadly Fred passed away peacefully on Friday 16 April 2010 after a long battle with cancer. He is fondly remembered as one of the ‘larger than life’ characters to have graced our industry. Read more
