WorldSkills 2026 will take place from 22 to 27 September 2026 in Shanghai, China. This global event brings together young professionals under the age of 23 from more than 80 countries and regions to compete in over 60 skill areas, including Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. The competition is recognized as one of the most prominent platforms for showcasing vocational skills and raising awareness of technical education and training worldwide.

Participants will demonstrate their abilities in real-world tasks, evaluated against industry standards by international experts. The Refrigeration and Air Conditioning skill competition focuses on practical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and energy-efficient solutions, reflecting the evolving demands of the HVACR sector.

WorldSkills 2026 also features a conference program, industry exhibitions, and opportunities for networking among employers, educators, and policy makers. The event encourages knowledge exchange and highlights innovations in workforce development and sustainable technologies.

For refrigeration professionals, WorldSkills offers a chance to observe emerging talent, engage with future technicians, and gain insights into global training practices.
