The trade show’s theme “MAKE IN India - Infinite Opportunities for HVAC&R and the Building Services Industry” is strongly aligned with the current government campaign “MAKE IN INDIA”, a national program to attract investment and foster innovation. Over the next two years, the industry is expected to grow by 30 percent to a size of more than 30.000 crore Indian Rupees (4.6 billion US-dollar). For two key areas of growth, smart buildings and the refrigeration and cold chain industry, ACREX India aims to boost participation with specialized pavilions. According to market observers, India’s home automation market is growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 30 percent, closely followed by the market for refrigeration and cold chain with a CAGR of 25 percent.
