ARBSQLD 2027
Where: Australia, Australia and Oceania
When: 02 March 2027 - 03 March 2027

ARBSQLD 2027

ARBSQLD 2027 will take place on 2–3 June 2027 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, offering Queensland's HVAC&R contractors, technicians, specifiers and consultants two days of immersive product training, technical talks and career pathways. Attendance is free for industry professionals.

The event is built around a training-led format, with pre-scheduled 20-minute product training sessions delivered directly on exhibitor stands across both days. Sessions are bookable at registration and promoted in advance, giving visitors access to multiple suppliers in a single day rather than scheduling individual training visits. Exhibitor options include shell scheme stands at AUD 460/m² [approx. $300/m²] and space-only stands at AUD 410/m² [approx. $265/m²].

The programme is structured around six learning formats. Alongside product training, the event includes roughly 30-minute non-commercial technical talks selected via abstract submission, covering topics such as fan-selection fundamentals, fault-finding workshops and BMS bootcamps. Two-hour accredited micro-credentials will be delivered by industry associations and training academies, serving as an entry point into deeper learning pathways.

A 1.5-day professional development seminar stream, delivered with AIRAH and AMCA, opens on 1 June, the day before the exhibition. The senior leaders' programme covers fire safety, technical research, building performance and licensing. Optional site tours on 3 June will visit major Brisbane infrastructure projects, including Queens Wharf and health sites linked to Olympic and health infrastructure development. Places on the tours are limited.

A dedicated careers hub will connect education providers, government bodies, women in trades groups and employers with school leavers and career-changers, addressing the HVAC&R skills shortage. The hub includes a schools programme and a try-a-trade space. The event targets the Queensland market specifically, reaching contractors and specifiers who often do not attend the biennial national ARBS exhibition.
