Mojave Energy Systems announced $19 million in Series B funding to scale production of its ArctiDry liquid desiccant platform, expand manufacturing capacity and grow its sales organization. The financing will also support development of additional ArctiDry products for commercial buildings in grocery, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, education and other sectors.
Fairtree Elevant Ventures led the round, with a significant investment from River Bay Investments. Returning investors At One Ventures, Fifth Wall, Myriad Venture Partners and Starshot Capital participated alongside new investors Cleo Capital and MetaTrail.
The ArctiDry platform includes ArctiDry DX, a liquid desiccant air conditioner that is often deployed as a Dedicated Outdoor Air System. The unit controls humidity and temperature independently. Mojave reports that customers using ArctiDry systems achieve 30% to 60% lower energy use than standard HVAC systems, typically with payback periods of less than 18 months.
Mojave also launched ArctiDry Hydro in 2026 for facilities operating chilled-water plants. The hydronic liquid desiccant air-handling system uses conventional chilled-water temperatures and can deliver supply-air dew points as low as 25°F. It is designed to extend existing chiller capacity, with the manufacturer reporting improvements in overall plant efficiency of up to 20%.
ArctiDry DX and ArctiDry Hydro are the first products based on the platform. Mojave plans to use part of the new financing to continue product development while increasing production capacity as installations expand across the United States.
“Demand for our products continues to increase because customers in grocery, industrial, hospitality, education, and other sectors are done treating humidity as a side effect of cooling,” said Phil Farese, CEO of Mojave Energy Systems.
