Assemblin Caverion establishes Swedish data center business area

The specialist hub will coordinate Swedish expertise as the group expands its Nordic data center portfolio, with agreements totalling 140MW.

Assemblin Caverion establishes Swedish data center business area

Assemblin Caverion has established a new business area in Sweden focused on data center projects, bringing together specialist capabilities in sales, design, engineering, project management and coordination of technical installations and services.

Assemblin Caverion Data Center becomes the fifth business area within the group’s Swedish division. The division currently comprises technical facility management company Caverion and three Assemblin installation companies: Assemblin Electrical, Assemblin H&S and Assemblin Ventilation.

The new business area will operate as a specialised competence and coordination hub for data center projects. It will work with the other Swedish business areas to deliver comprehensive data center solutions and will be led by Fredrik Allthin, CEO Sweden, EVP.

During the last twelve months, Assemblin Caverion Group has signed several agreements in the data center segment with a combined capacity of around 140 MW (approx. 477.7 million BTU/h), covering projects in Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Estonia.

“The data center market is developing rapidly across the Nordics. We have the experience and delivery capacity needed, and by establishing a dedicated Swedish business area, we can better coordinate our specialist capabilities and strengthen our customer offering”, says Fredrik Allthin, CEO Sweden, EVP.
