Carrier has completed its acquisition of Intercool, the authorized distributor of Toshiba HVAC products in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg since 1973. The transaction strengthens Carrier’s presence in the residential and light commercial HVAC markets across the Benelux region.
Intercool has 42 employees across the Netherlands and Belgium and specializes in residential and light commercial HVAC solutions. Carrier said the acquisition supports its strategy to grow the Toshiba HVAC business in Benelux, strengthen its multi-brand approach and expand its reach with installers and customers.
Following the acquisition, Intercool will continue to operate as a dedicated sales organization within Carrier Climate Solutions Europe. The organization will support the development of Toshiba HVAC solutions in the Benelux market.
