Carrier Global Corporation has appointed Thomas Donato as President, Climate Solutions Europe, succeeding Thomas Heim, who is stepping down from the role. Heim and Donato will work together on the transition for the company’s employees, customers and partners.
Donato most recently served as CEO of Bosch Power Tools. He previously held senior executive leadership positions at Bosch Rexroth, Rockwell Automation and ABB. Carrier said he has experience leading large industrial technology businesses, managing global P&Ls, driving transformation, delivering growth and building teams.
Heim spent nine years with Carrier and Viessmann Climate Solutions. According to Carrier, he played a key role in the integration of Viessmann Climate Solutions with Carrier and in bringing together the residential and commercial HVAC businesses in Europe.
