Alice DeBiasio Named Recipient of 2024 Women in Supply Chain Award
Alice DeBiasio, Vice President & General Manager, Truck Trailer Americas & Digital Solutions at Carrier, has been named a recipient of the prestigious 2024 Women in Supply Chain award. Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive recognized DeBiasio's outstanding leadership and mentorship, which have set a foundation for other women in the industry.

DeBiasio oversees more than 700 employees at Carrier Transicold’s manufacturing plant in Athens, Georgia, and field operations worldwide. Having joined Carrier in July 2021 as the Vice President & General Manager of the Sensitech and Digital Solutions businesses, including the Lynx digital ecosystem, she advanced to her current role in January 2023.

Receiving the 2024 Women in Supply Chain Award in the Workforce Innovator category, DeBiasio's commitment to workforce development and supply chain education has led to significant achievements. She has inspired her team to achieve their goals and overcome challenges, focusing on resilience and productivity within the supply chain. This leadership resulted in the Truck Trailer Americas business introducing a record number of new products in 2023.

“Our industry is undergoing substantial change, given advances in transport refrigeration unit electrification and telematics,” DeBiasio said. “This award would not be possible without our incredible employees and their efforts to make our supply chain more resilient in the face of incredible transformation. Together, we’ve improved our planning, forecasting, and ability to have the right components at the factory at the right time so our qualified and skilled production team can deliver as promised.”

DeBiasio began her career in mechanical engineering, transitioning from a design engineer role at Northrop Grumman to business leadership and product development roles at Honeywell and Resideo. She underscores the value of mentorship and fostering a culture of empowerment in the workplace.

“I’ve been fortunate to have exceptional mentors who have shown me the immense importance of being technically competent and equally comfortable having conversations that build trust among peers and customers,” DeBiasio said. “It’s an honor to be recognized as a role model for women in the industry.”
