BAKO, a top provider of bakery products in the UK, has upgraded its fleet with 13 new vehicles from long-time partner Gray & Adams. This enhancement supports BAKO's nationwide supply chain with improved delivery capabilities.
In 2024, the company acquired 26-tonne rigid vehicles featuring dual-compartment bodies designed for optimal temperature control across diverse routes in northern England and Scotland. These vehicles are powered with underslung fridge motors using energy-efficient technology, aligning with the company’s sustainability goals.
Gray & Adams have tailored these vehicles for durability and performance, extending service life to 10–12 years. This reflects the continuous collaborative effort between both companies since 1995, focusing on innovative transport solutions.
