Bischof and the Nagel-Group deepen their cooperation in Switzerland

The food logistics companies Nagel-Group and Bischof will be working more closely together. The companies have significantly intensified their existing cooperation in chilled and frozen transports.

As a result of the agreement reached on 1 February 2019, the Nagel-Group has streamlined its network of cooperation partners for the Alpine republic. "To date we have fulfilled the transport wishes of our customers in Switzerland with the help of several service providers. The cooperation with an experienced, fixed partner offers benefits to both parties," says Carsten Taucke, CEO of the Nagel-Group. For instance, this long-term cooperation will result in synergies achieved through reduction in empty runs or simplified processes through faster exchange using IT interfaces.

"We are delighted and are looking forward to working closely with the Nagel-Group. The Multi-Temperature-Centre we set up in Sennwald in 2012 and our headquarters in nearby Feldkirch in Switzerland offer ideal conditions for bundling the flows of goods for both companies to Switzerland and guarantee reliable delivery," says Astrid Bischof, Managing Director of Bischof.

Both partners benefit through the same philosophy while carrying out chilled and frozen transports. "Bischof and Nagel are not only connected by their passion for food logistics but both companies also demand the highest quality standards of their services. It is therefore all the more gratifying that we have now succeeded in taking our shared ideas to a new level," says Carsten Taucke.
