Carrier Transicold Launches Lynx Fleet Mobile App for Real-Time Cold Chain Monitoring

Carrier Transicold has introduced a mobile version of its Lynx Fleet digital solution, giving users real-time access to refrigeration system data from smartphones. Available at no cost to existing Lynx Fleet users in Europe, the app supports cold chain visibility and aims to improve operational efficiency and reduce risks associated with temperature-sensitive transport.

The Lynx Fleet Mobile app provides real-time data on compartment temperatures, unit status, and vehicle location. It allows fleet managers, operators, and drivers to monitor Carrier Transicold-compatible units remotely and respond promptly to potential issues. The interface has been developed with input from over 40 European test fleets.

“For the first time, drivers can access live data just as easily as their fleet managers, allowing them to proactively monitor temperature conditions, respond to alerts and keep their cargo protected,” said Jérôme Struk, Service Director, Truck Trailer International, Carrier Transicold. “By putting critical insights directly in the hands of those on the front line, we are reducing delays, preventing loss and making cold chain logistics more efficient than ever.”

Users can monitor their fleets through a Fleet Overview function that highlights units needing attention. The Asset Details view offers temperature data and compliance tools to help meet cold chain regulations, such as those for pharmaceuticals or perishable goods.

The app integrates with the existing Lynx Fleet platform and supports unlimited user access per account, enabling real-time collaboration between drivers and fleet managers. According to Carrier Transicold, early adopters have reported improved clarity and ease of use.
