CoolKit Set To Exhibit At Pharmacy Show

CoolKit will be exhibiting their newly introduced portable refrigerated containers and talking about their latest pharmaceutical distribution vehicle at the event, running 7-8 October at the NEC in Birmingham.

The Burnley-based company secured sole rights to distribute the containers, produced by Italian manufacturer Melform, in the UK and Ireland earlier this year.
CoolKit will be showcasing the front-opening Biomed 32, with a 27-litres capacity, and the front-opening Biomed 140, with a 140-litre capacity.

Both products have a temperature range of -18°C to +40°C that can be set with the programmable digital controller to preserve the chemical and physical characteristics of pharma products during transportation.

CoolKit can supply a wide range of insulated containers ranging in size from 20 litres to 1,350 litres capacity. Comprising a heavy-duty polyethylene shell in conjunction with polyurethane insulation, the portable refrigerators are manufactured using a rotational moulding process which results in strong, light construction without corners, joints and welds.

The containers benefit from dual power inputs (12V or 24V DC and 240V AC) as standard enabling use either aboard a vehicle or in a mains powered structure. In addition to that they are ATP certified for the transport of perishable goods by road, NF certified and safe to use in a HACCP environment. Compliant with the cold chain at all stages and fully recyclable at the end of the operating life, they are proving very popular amongst CoolKit’s existing customers, as well as attracting new operators of non-refrigerated fleets.

The latest GDP compliant pharmaceutical distribution vehicle produced by CoolKit features their integrated airflow system allowing +15°C to +25°C temperature control in the load space for controlled ambient goods and +2°C to +8°C in a Melform temperature-controlled container for fridge lines.
