Emergent Cold LatAm Opens Largest Cold Storage Facility in São Paulo

Emergent Cold Latin America has inaugurated its largest temperature-controlled facility in Latin America, situated in Guarulhos, São Paulo. This new addition boosts the company's storage capacity in Brazil by 20%, consolidating its position as a key player in the sector.

The expanded warehouse offers a 51,000-pallet capacity within 347,000 cubic meters, enhancing the existing on-site operations. This move aligns with Emergent Cold LatAm's investment strategy in Brazil, expected to generate 300 direct jobs and 1,000 indirect roles, benefiting the local economy.

Evandro Calanca, Managing Director for the South Cone region, emphasized the relevance of this facility: "The combined capacity represents one of the largest temperature-controlled facilities in Greater São Paulo, meeting the rising demand from food producers and retailers."

Operating 78 facilities across 11 Latin American countries, Emergent Cold LatAm serves Brazil across six states. President David Palfenier emphasized the company's commitment, stating the expansion reflects their dedication to providing top-notch storage solutions and logistical support, strengthening their market leadership in Latin America’s strategic urban centers.
