FreezPak Logistics Expands to West Coast with New Facility in Los Angeles
FreezPak Logistics has announced the opening of its first West Coast facility in Los Angeles, California. This 150,000-square-foot cold storage facility will accommodate 20,000 frozen and cooler pallet positions, offering services such as overseas container plugs, USDA/FSIS/FDA inspections, cross-docking, port drayage, and same-day order fulfillment.

Located 20 miles from the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, the facility creates a vital link between FreezPak’s operations in seven states and nationwide metropolitan hubs. Co-Founders and CEOs Michael and David Saoud described the expansion as a "monumental step" in FreezPak’s mission to provide efficient cold chain solutions across the U.S.

The Los Angeles facility is part of FreezPak's broader growth strategy, which includes ongoing projects in Jacksonville, Florida, and Norfolk, Virginia, set to open in early 2025.

Founded in 2001, FreezPak Logistics specializes in temperature-controlled logistics, supporting industries such as food and pharmaceuticals. Saoud Development, the real estate arm of FreezPak, has played a key role in designing and funding advanced cold storage facilities.
