Gray & Adams receives King’s Award for Innovation 2025

Gray & Adams has been awarded The King’s Award for Enterprise for Innovation 2025, recognising its refrigerated lifting deck semi-trailer. The product features multiple temperature compartments and an aerodynamic tapered body.

This is the second royal award for the company’s trailer innovations. In 2020, Gray & Adams received The Queen’s Award for Enterprise for its double-deck trailer with a full-length moving upper deck.

The King’s Awards for Enterprise recognise UK businesses for achievements in Innovation, International Trade, Sustainable Development, and Promoting Opportunity. The 2025 honours represent the third year of the awards under the reign of King Charles III.

“We are delighted and deeply honoured to receive The King’s Award for Enterprise for Innovation,” said James and Peter Gray, Joint Managing Directors, Gray & Adams. “This award reflects the commitment, creativity, and hard work of our entire team in pushing the boundaries of trailer design.”

James and Peter Gray acknowledged John MacKinnon, Senior Engineer, for his role in the award submission.
