Gray & Adams supplies refrigerated rigid bodies for Mac’s Trucks expansion

Gray & Adams has announced its collaboration with Mac’s Trucks to supply bespoke refrigerated rigid bodies, supporting the West Yorkshire-based company’s growing presence in the refrigerated transport sector.

Mac’s Trucks, traditionally focused on plant equipment and crane truck builds, has expanded its portfolio in recent years to meet increased demand for refrigeration vehicles. As part of this diversification, Gray & Adams has become a key supplier, delivering temperature-controlled bodies built on DAF and Volvo chassis in both 18 and 26-tonne formats.

Over the past six months, Gray & Adams has delivered ten vehicles from its Belfast facility, with a further seventeen commissioned from its Doncaster site. The vehicles are purpose-built to meet customer demand for high-quality refrigerated transport solutions.

“We’ve seen a huge amount of growth across all of our vehicle types over the last few years,” said Alex McDade, Sales Director at Mac’s Trucks. “Demand from our customers for high-quality Fridge bodies especially has been exceptional since the Pandemic, this has seen Gray & Adams become our partner to support that growth.”

The companies highlight shared family business values and a focus on long-term relationships as key to the success of the partnership.
