Lineage announces 2025 Carrier of the Year winners in U.S., Canada

Lineage, Inc. announced the recipients of its 2025 Carrier of the Year awards, an annual program recognizing transportation service providers supporting Lineage’s cold-chain food movements. The company said award recipients were selected from carriers across the United States and Canada using quantitative and qualitative performance criteria.

Lineage added that, except for the Drayage category, all category winners were required to participate in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s SmartWay program to be eligible.

The seven award categories were US National Truckload, US Regional Truckload East, US Regional Truckload West, US Less-than-Truckload, Canadian Truckload, US Drayage East, and US Drayage West. The 2025 winners were J.S. Helwig & Son LLC (US National Truckload), MC Van Kampen Trucking Inc (US Regional Truckload East), Holman Transportation LLC (US Regional Truckload West), Al-Amin Brothers Transportation LLC (US Less-than-Truckload), TransDirect Freightlines Inc. (Canadian Truckload), QFS Transportation LLC (US Drayage East), and A+ Transport LLC (US Drayage West).

Lineage said the 2025 cohort includes three back-to-back Carrier of the Year winners: J.S. Helwig & Son, MC Van Kampen Trucking, and Al-Amin Brothers Transportation.

“Delivering world-class logistics requires a network built on reliability and shared values,” said Jim Thompson, Vice President of Transportation and Logistics at Lineage. “We created this program to spotlight the carriers who consistently go above and beyond for our customers. We’re excited to honor this year’s winners who keep raising the bar for excellence in transportation.”
