NewCold, the fast-growing leader in advanced food logistics, is expanding in its home country.
A new highly automated warehouse is already under construction in Dinteloord, North Brabant, and NewCold has recently acquired the Koel-en Vrieshuis Reimerswaal (KVR) facility in Kruiningen, Zeeland.
Bram Hage, NewCold CEO and Founder, added: “Due to customer demand, NewCold is expanding its footprint in the Netherlands. Alongside the greenfield project at Dinteloord, where we are building a state-of-the-art facility, we see great value in KVR’s strategic location. We also see a good opportunity to unlock additional capabilities through refurbishment and deploying NewCold’s proprietary software and automated solutions in the warehouse. We will also expand the facility’s pallet position capacity.”
Since its formation in 2012, NewCold has grown from having warehouses in Germany and France to 15 in several countries on three continents, including the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia.
NewCold is also growing in existing markets, such as the United States, where a fourth facility in that country is nearing completion. And NewCold is moving into new markets, with expansion to India and Canada already announced.
“NewCold has earned its reputation for innovation. We are growing because we deliver high-level service consistently, using automation and proprietary software to cut loading times, costs, and carbon footprints,” noted Hage.
