Telegraph and Lineage Partner to Enhance Sustainable Food Supply Chain

Telegraph, a leader in rail technology, has partnered with Lineage, the largest temperature-controlled warehouse REIT globally, to enhance sustainability and reduce food waste in the supply chain. Lineage's investment in Telegraph aims to incorporate advanced railcar telematics for its rail customers, leveraging Lineage's network of temperature-controlled warehouses and refrigerated railcars to improve food distribution efficiency across North America.

In the U.S., significant food waste occurs annually amidst rising food insecurity. Lineage's mission to transform the cold chain aligns with Telegraph's platform, which integrates rail transportation for a reduced carbon footprint. This partnership is set to provide better transparency, efficient planning, and seamless logistics for shippers.

Lineage's Chief Information Officer, Sudarsan Thattai, emphasized the collaboration's role in revolutionizing the food supply chain through sustainable rail transportation. The enhanced telematics technology allows for safer, more efficient food transport, accommodating diverse product ranges with improved supply chain visibility.

Telegraph CEO, Harris Ligon, expressed pride in working with Lineage, aiming to reduce carbon emissions and boost food accessibility. The partnership demonstrates an innovative approach to creating a cost-effective, precise, and sustainable food supply chain, offering transformative benefits to modern companies and households alike.
