Daikin has expanded its large-space heating and cooling portfolio with Daikin Vertical Water and the new Daikin Space Cooler & Heater range. Available in Direct Expansion (DX) and Hydronic versions, the units are designed for warehouses, logistics centres, manufacturing facilities, workshops, gyms and sports venues. Both product ranges will be available from November 2026.
The DX versions can connect to Daikin VRV 5 systems or ERA condensing units and are intended for new buildings, system extensions and projects without a hydronic network. Hydronic versions integrate with chillers and heat pumps using existing chilled- or hot-water infrastructure.
Daikin Vertical Water extends the company’s floor-mounted Vertical range to hydronic applications. The units feature a Plug & Play configuration, reversible left- or right-side connections and standard ductless operation, targeting installations where ceiling mounting is impractical or reduced installation disruption is required.
Daikin Space Cooler & Heater uses wall- or ceiling-mounted installation to preserve usable floor space and provide air distribution in large-volume and high-ceiling buildings. The range includes Nozzle, Grille and Premium Self-Adjusting Nozzle configurations and is available in DX and Hydronic versions.
For filtration, Daikin Vertical uses an ISO ePM10 60% (M5) filter, while Space Cooler & Heater uses ISO Coarse metal filters. Both ranges have a ductless design and provide access for servicing and maintenance.
Daikin Vertical Water and Daikin Space Cooler & Heater are designed and manufactured at Daikin Applied Europe’s production facility in Caleppio di Settala, Italy. The products will be available in multiple configurations and supplied directly from stock.
