ACCA and ACO partnership

The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) and The HVACR Association of Louisiana are pleased to share that the Louisiana association has become the 21st Allied Contracting Organization (ACO) to affiliate with ACCA. With the addition of The HVACR Association of Louisiana, ACCA’s Allied Contracting Organizations now serve 27 states and the District of Columbia.

ACOs are independent associations that partner with ACCA on the advancement of the HVACR industry’s technical excellence, business success, and legislative and regulatory goals. While ACCA and HVACR Association of Louisiana memberships remain separate, both organizations will promote the value of investing in a strong representation of the HVACR industry at the local and national levels.

The timing of this agreement couldn't be better, with the ACCA 2023 Conference and Expo coming to New Orleans on April 2-5. HVACR Association of Louisiana Members will enjoy access to world class business training and networking in their backyard at discounted member rates.

"The HVACR Association of Louisiana is pleased to partner with ACCA and promote the HVACR industry in our state," says Angela Menard Morvant, president of the HVACR Association of Louisiana. "We see the value of becoming one of ACCA's ACOs with the full confidence we can create a lasting partnership for the betterment of all of our members."

“We are pleased to welcome The HVACR Association of Louisiana as our 21st ACO,” said Barton James, ACCA president and CEO. “We know contractors’ voices are stronger when ACCA national combines our efforts with state and local organizations. We believe this new relationship will help contractors in Louisiana be better represented on all levels.”

"Saying yes to an alliance with ACCA was the easiest decision for us to make," says Leslie Davis, statewide association coordinator for the HVACR Association of Louisiana. "Our state and chapter board members, along with ACCA's board are volunteer contractors and suppliers who are always seeking ways to bring value to the industry, so this is a winning combination."

"When I was president of the HVACR Association of Louisiana, one of my key goals was to partner with ACCA, and today that is becoming a reality," says Duane Simpson, past president and board member of the HVACR Association of Louisiana.

This agreement will help both organizations better represent and support contractors in Louisiana through a unified voice on legislative and regulatory issues and better cross-promotion and reciprocal discounts on educational programs.
