Advanced Cooling Technologies acquires California-based Canyon Composites

Advanced Cooling Technologies Inc. (ACT), a thermal management solutions provider based in Pennsylvania, has acquired Canyon Composites Inc., a manufacturer of composite and metallic structures located in Anaheim, California. The acquisition expands ACT’s capabilities in serving the space, defense, and related industries with integrated thermal control systems.

Canyon Composites, founded in 1995, produces structural and radiator panels for demanding applications. Its facility and personnel in Anaheim will become part of ACT’s operations, supporting global customers with an expanded range of products.

ACT stated that the acquisition enables it to offer complete solutions by combining its passive and active thermal control technologies with Canyon’s structural components. The company also noted the strategic value of adding a West Coast location to complement its existing East Coast operations.

“The addition of Canyon Composites will enable ACT to provide a more complete solution to our valued customers,” said Jon Zuo, President of ACT.

BJ Rutkoski, President of Canyon Composites, added: “Our teams share a commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer success and we look forward to growing our position as part of ACT.”
