Aira appoints Anthony Loizeau as Group CEO, succeeding Peter Prem

Aira has announced the appointment of Anthony Loizeau as its new Group CEO. He succeeds Peter Prem, who is stepping down after leading the company through the launch of the Aira Power range and the completion of its integrated home energy system.

Chairman Harald Mix stated that Loizeau’s leadership will support Aira’s continued commercial development, highlighting the importance of his experience as the company expands with a streamlined structure. Mix also expressed gratitude to Prem for his role in establishing the company’s manufacturing platform in Poland, driving operational excellence, securing funding, and launching the Aira Power product line.

Founded in June 2023, Aira is a clean energy technology company with a vertically integrated platform offering smart home energy solutions, monthly payment plans, and long-term guarantees. The company operates commercially in Germany, Italy, and the UK, with an annual sales run-rate of €200 million (approx. USD 218 million).

Loizeau joined Aira in June 2024 and previously served as Deputy CEO, overseeing sales and marketing. His prior leadership experience includes roles at Verisure Group, Orange, and Nestlé.

“I am honoured to take on the role as Aira Group CEO,” said Anthony Loizeau. “With Aira Power completing our integrated home energy offering, we are set to significantly reduce energy bills, decarbonise homes and accelerate Europe’s transition to affordable, secure and clean energy.”

Peter Prem added: “Over three years, we've established our presence across five countries, built our own manufacturing platform in Poland and launched an amazing, innovative, product range. With these strong foundations in place, I'm confident Aira is well-positioned for continued success under Anthony's leadership.”
