AIRAH Awards 2021 call for nominations

Industry leaders, innovators and seekers of excellence are invited to apply for the premier accolades of the Australian HVAC&R world: the AIRAH Awards.

Every year the Institute selects the leading individuals, projects and products of our industry, and hosts a black-tie gala dinner to honour, celebrate and acknowledge their achievements. The finalists and winners earn much-deserved recognition on the night, as well as the stamp of excellence that they can display with pride in the months, years and indeed decades that follow.

Nomination now open

Nominations are now open for the 2021 AIRAH Awards. The AIRAH Awards gala will take place on November 11.
“Kudos, prestige and a certain mystique accompany the AIRAH Awards,” says AIRAH CEO Tony Gleeson, M.AIRAH. “Only the best of the best ever manage to seize an AIRAH Award, though many try. And in 2021, there has never been a better time to put your hand up and nominate.”

Several categories

There are 13 different categories covering the gamut of HVAC&R projects and industry endeavour. Some of these include Excellence in Sustainability, Best HVAC Retrofit or Upgrade, Excellence in Refrigeration, Product of the Year, Excellence in Innovation, Student of the Year, and Future Leader.
For those unsure about the process itself or eligibility requirements, AIRAH staff are happy to discuss, explain and elaborate, and if necessary, point out which award category might be most appropriate.

“One of the goals of the AIRAH Awards is to encourage our industry to value its achievements and put them forward so they can be acknowledged and celebrated,” says Gleeson. “For the finalists and winners, it’s a huge accolade, but it’s also valuable for our sector as a whole because it shines a light on the amazing and often-overlooked work that we do.”
