Alfa Laval suspends its activities in Russia

Alfa Laval has decided to suspend all deliveries to and from Russia. Alfa Laval's priority is to ensure the safety and well-being of its employees and to support those in affected areas. Alfa Laval will continue to rethink how it can support and assist its employees in the region - in the short and long term.

Historically, orders from the Russian and Ukrainian markets amounted to approximately 1 billion SEK per year, which is equivalent to 2 percent of the company's total volume. In parallel, an assessment of existing orders and open projects is carried out. The total order book in Russia and Ukraine is about 750 million SEK. The integrity of the order book will be reassessed in connection with the first quarter report. In addition, some negative impact on bottom line is expected due to difficulties in completing ongoing projects.

Alfa Laval has a competent team of 240 employees in Russia and Ukraine. The team will be retained despite the expected low occupancy in the near future, while assessing the long-term impact on the Russian market.
