“Anthony is a proven and well-respected leader in the energy solutions market with more than 25 years of industry experience,” stated Adam Coffey, CEO and president of CoolSys. “He successfully built and led two market-leading energy solutions businesses over the past 15 years, saving leading grocery retailers millions of dollars in energy spend. We are confident he is the right leader to combine and leverage the existing CoolSys Energy Solutions resources with those of the recently acquired Axiom resources into an even more progressive and effective energy-saving solutions business for our customers.”

Well-known and respected in the grocery retail energy sector, Anthony has a proven track record of developing and executing highly effective and sustainable energy savings programs for customers. Prior to establishing Axiom Energy Solutions, Tippins was the president, chief operating officer (COO) and a founding partner at Aztec Energy Partners, a global energy management services provider. A licensed professional engineer in the state of Georgia, he earned his MBA from Emory University and his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Georgia Southern University. Tippins, a 23-year veteran and retired Navy officer, last served as a civil engineering corps officer in the United States Navy’s Construction Battalion, the Seabees.

“I am honored and excited to be named president of CoolSys Energy Solutions and to be part of the dynamic CoolSys leadership team,” Tippins comments. “I have known members of the CoolSys team for many years and look forward to partnering them with the resources from Axiom. In doing so, we will be positioned as the dominant player in the energy solutions space by providing an even more expansive menu of options for our customers across North America.”

Reporting to Tippins, and playing key leadership roles at CoolSys Energy Solutions, are Kevin Ricci, vice president, and co-founder of Axiom Energy Solutions; Justin Wilson, vice president; and Aimee Rogers, manager of accounting and finance.
