Arneg Group acquires Italy-based Frigomeccanica to expand product portfolio

Arneg Group, an international leader in commercial refrigeration, has announced the acquisition of Frigomeccanica S.r.l., an Italian manufacturer of refrigerated display furnishings and components for food retail and hospitality sectors.

Based in the province of Teramo, Frigomeccanica operates globally through the brands Frigomeccanica, Stiltek, Officine 900, and Sifa. The company supplies equipment for ice cream parlours, pastry shops, bakeries, bars, and food retail outlets.

This acquisition expands Arneg’s product offering in the gelato, pastry, and café segments. According to the company, both groups share a common focus on craftsmanship, Italian manufacturing heritage, and long-term innovation.

“We are pleased to welcome Frigomeccanica into our big family,” said Filippo Marzaro, CEO of Arneg S.p.A. “Together, we will create synergies, new opportunities, and cutting-edge solutions to continuously deliver value to our customers.”

Daniele Marzaro, CEO of Arneg Group’s foreign subsidiaries, added that the integration will support the delivery of more customized and technologically advanced solutions, adapted to local market needs while ensuring consistent quality standards.

Enzo Di Serafino, CEO of Frigomeccanica, commented: “Joining the Arneg Group means taking our technology and artisan expertise to a global level. We are confident that this union will lead to new opportunities and shared achievements.”

Arneg was advised by Studio Armellini Barzon (legal) and Studio Zulli Tabanelli e Associati (financial). The selling shareholders — Unigrains (via Agroalimentare Italiano I fund) and Invitalia (via Cresci al Sud fund) — were advised by Gitti and Partners. Enzo Di Serafino was supported by Titi & Associati.
