ASERCOM and EPEE Release Comprehensive Position Paper on Professional Refrigeration
ASERCOM and EPEE have jointly released a detailed position paper addressing the revision of ecodesign requirements for professional refrigeration under ENTR Lot 1.

This paper is based on extensive performance data from condensing units and process chillers. It addresses the impacts of the new F-Gas Regulation and potential PFAS restrictions on energy efficiency and market feasibility.

Key concerns include the call for realistic Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) and the avoidance of overly ambitious targets that could lead to limited product availability and higher costs.

The document also highlights the importance of practical applications and the potential misleading effects of energy efficiency labels on condensing units.
