Atlas Copco acquires UK-based Anglian Compressors & Equipment

Atlas Copco UK Holdings Ltd has acquired Anglian Compressors & Equipment Limited, a compressed air distributor based in Cambridgeshire, England. With this move, Anglian becomes part of the service division within Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique business area.

Founded in 1977 and headquartered in Peterborough, Anglian employs 28 people. The company provides energy-saving solutions and services related to compressed air systems, including compressors, gas generators, and chillers. Its customer base spans various manufacturing industries such as food and beverages, Agri-tech, digital technologies, and energy and environment sectors.

The acquisition strengthens Atlas Copco’s sales and service presence in the East of England. According to Ariel Rubinstein, General Manager of Atlas Copco Compressors UK & Ireland, the integration of Anglian will bring additional opportunities for the group.

“This marks an important milestone in our history. Our name, our people, and our commitment to excellence remain unchanged – our team and our customers will see only positive results from this move,” said Richard Hewitt, Managing Director of Anglian Compressors & Equipment Ltd. “Atlas Copco represents an exciting new chapter going forward, we will be able to create new opportunities for growth, all while staying true to our values.”
