The Australian Refrigeration Council has appointed Mark Lamb as its new CEO, effective immediately. Susie O'Neill has been appointed Deputy CEO.
Lamb brings leadership experience across sectors in Australia and internationally. Most recently, he served as CEO of the Murray-Darling Association and previously held senior positions at leading organizations, working closely with government and industry.
He succeeds Glenn Evans, who served on the Council for 17 years. ARC Chairman Dr. Greg Picker said Lamb will lead the Council as it continues to oversee the national governance of the ARC permit program, also known as ARCtick.
"The Board is pleased to appoint Mark Lamb as our new CEO. We look forward to working with him as we continue to deliver the ARCtick permitting program and improve our services to industry,” said Picker.
O'Neill, who had been Acting CEO, will support ARC's next phase of development alongside Lamb, focusing on strategy, efficiency, and service delivery.
“This is a critical time for the industry as we work to achieve our national net-zero carbon targets, and I look forward to building on the excellent work already accomplished,” said Lamb.
